Description of Classes
Strike-A-Pose: Develop your yoga practice, one asana (pose) at a time. We begin with a sequence that prepares and strengthens the body for one asana, then focus on building the pose from the ground up. We end with a cool down and shavasana (resting pose). Designed to offer time for delving and discovering the deep benefits of an asana and yourself. You will leave feeling open and rejuvenated with a fuller expression of you and your yoga practice, whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a new student.
Joyful Journey: This class cares for your whole body. It covers various poses like standing, inversions, twists, backbends, or forward bends. You'll leave feeling open and joyful, expressing yourself fully in your yoga journey, whether you're experienced or new.
Happy Hips: This class is of value if you sit all day, run, walk or have lower back discomfort. It will release tension in your hips. You will leave with comfort in your hips and a smile on your face!
Sunny Sunday: Expand the Heart with Love and allow your Heart to Shine! Create mobility in your spine as your stretch and tone it. Move forward in your life as you open the rib cage, shoulders, hips and chest feeling the expansion of love in your Heart with freedom of breath.
Community Class (Simple Stretches to Unwind): Would you like to decompress from your day? Experience simple stretches/poses to relax and unravel from the day. You will leave feeling ease throughout your mind and body.
Release Stress - Soothe the Nervous System Class: Do you have stress in your life? Stress is held in the nervous system. Stress flows into the muscles and organs of the body when the nervous system is saturated. Since most stress is perceived stress, controlling the mind is crucial to the release of stress. Learn techniques to calm the mind to help surrender stress. Explore supportive and gentle poses to invite peacefulness and gentleness throughout your mind, body and spirit. You will feel calm, refreshed and enlivened after this class.
